01 / MORE CONTEXT FOR THE MUSIC
Start with a scene.
Give the music a point of view.
A text brief can describe a mood. Your video also carries events, pacing and sound. BachGround analyzes the uploaded footage and uses that context, your content type and an optional brief to help generate music from video.
Describe what you have in mind.
A brief can express instruments, energy and atmosphere. It is a useful way to give music a creative direction.
Your description → Musical directionBring the picture into the process.
Your footage provides context through video analysis. Use the brief for what you want the music to contribute—or leave it blank and let the footage lead.
Your video + optional brief → Soundtrack to refineVideo-informed generation is a starting point for your edit. Musical outcomes and timing can vary; review the result against your scene.
02 / SHAPE THE SOUNDTRACK
The first result
is yours to shape.
Listen with the picture before requesting another take. A different entrance, a softer transition or a lower music level may be the edit the scene needs.
Explore the Composer’s capabilitiesFind the entrance
Move music clips in the timeline and shape their fade in and fade out. Decide when the score should enter, build or leave space.
Keep the right balance
Set music and original-audio levels separately. Use volume automation to make a quieter passage or bring the music forward.
Make room for speech
Let source audio guide reductions in music level. Adjust ducking intensity, then listen with the dialogue to check the balance.
Revisit a passage
Generate music in an empty region, or continue existing music into empty space. New takes use your allowance or credits; review the join in context.
03 / TAKE IT BACK TO YOUR EDIT
Music on its own.
Or picture and score, together.
Your export follows the edited mix, including levels, fades, automation and optional ducking.
Keep mixing in your editor.
Download your edited music separately. Audio-only exports exclude the original source audio, so you can bring the soundtrack into your own edit.
Take the scored video with you.
Export your video with the edited music and original audio, according to your track levels, mute and solo settings.
Exports run in your browser. Scored-video export depends on browser and source-codec support; use WAV in your editor if needed. Review the Terms before publishing or delivering your work.
FOR THE VIDEO ON YOUR TIMELINE

Which video files can I use?
Upload MP4 or MOV, up to 512 MB and 15 minutes. Your browser also needs to support the video’s codec for preview. Choose the closest Content type and add optional direction in Your brief.
How is soundtrack generation charged?
Video analysis and music generation use your available allowance or credits. Duration, additional takes and generated regions affect how much you use. Actual usage depends on the models and processing used. Continue with a monthly or annual plan, or buy persistent credits from $5 without a subscription. See pricing and usage estimates.
Can I change the music after it is generated?
Yes. Move and edit music clips, adjust gain and volume automation, shape fades and change ducking intensity in Video Composer. For a new musical direction, request a Retake or generate in a supported region; new generation uses your available usage.
Can I download just the music?
Yes. Choose WAV or MP3 for edited music without the original source audio. Choose MP4 for your video with music and original audio according to your mix settings. Scored-video export depends on browser and source-codec support.
